Keto Baked Salmon w/ brown sugar topping

Keto Baked Salmon w/ brown sugar topping

We just came upon this and it looks delicious! Salmon is a great dinner entrée choice and it breaks up the monotony of steak, chicken, or pork every night while on the keto diet. Salmon has packed in it micronutrients, healthy fats, and high-quality protein. With a brown “sugar” glaze baked keto salmon is the perfect “other option” to traditional brown sugar and soy sauce marinated salmon. This packs all of the tangy & sweet flavors, but with less than 1g of net carbs per serving, none of the sugar! This recipe is big enough to feed four mouths.

Ingredients:

1 lb salmon

4 tbsp keto brown sugar replacement

1 tsp dijon mustard

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp soy sauce(can be substituted for coconut aminos)

1 tsp vinegar

Directions:

You want to preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. As its heating up, you want to line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Your next step is to combine all of the brown sugar glaze ingredients in a bowl (everything but the salmon). Next you want to place the salmon onto the baking sheet and brush the brown sugar glaze onto the salmon(sounds sweet already!). Be sure and bake for ten (10) minutes. An optional choiceyou could do is to broil it for an additional two minutes after baking it. That would make it a bit crispier. All depends on how you like your salmon. Then you serve your brown sugar glazed baked salmon which fits in with the keto diet.Be sure to add some low-carb sides and enjoy!
